Overview

The Transforming the Tube project is the biggest overhaul of the network in the London Underground's long history. As part of a large marketing campaign to promote commuters to 'check before they travel' an interactive Tube map was proposed showing planned works and any realtime delays across the network.

Involvement

My involvement with the project started with wireframing prototypes based on the Tube map. After creating working version for user testing these wireframes I further refined and then designed and developed in Flash. The development process included a large amount of functionality including station search, pan and zoom controls and XML integration with London Underground network status feeds to show disruptions for real time and planned disruptions.
