Overview

Caribbean Histories Revealed is an online exhibition at The National Archives. The site illustrates the story of European colonisation and transatlantic slave trade in the Caribbean with letters, maps, sketches and photographs spanning three centuries from The National Archive's extensive catalogue.

Involvement

A small site, the design aims to capture the Caribbean from the 19th century as it appears within the documents showcased on the site. A key part of the website is a custom map of the Caribbean showing areas for which The National Archives contains records for.
